I've had my eye on Antiquity by Sadie Olive for so long, I could have sworn I'd posted about this little gem before... oh, but there are just too many gorgeous things to choose from! Vintage Icons: Mary Jane Russell
I rather fancy you'd be hard-pressed to find a more striking and iconic fashion model during the New Look era than Mary Jane Russell. Truly, in the late forties she was the face of New York, with her long neck and elegant features. These are some of my favourite photos of her. Not only for the exquisite dresses, but for those adorably playful kitties, of course!

Fashion Fancies: Midnight, Sequins & Kitten Nails
I was leafing through a few Emporium mags last weekend, when I stumbled upon these glossy black beauties. I'm a little smitten with sequins right now... they're always a favourite when I'm feeling a little fancy, and they always remind me of New Years Eve, all sparkly and bright. I guess, sequins could be considered "vintage" too, which is nice. The classic sequin shape hasn't changed much in all these years. And don't you just love those beautiful black-tipped kitten nails. Gorgeous!

Lovely Library: Christmas Goodies from Roost
Of all the wonderful blog friends I have made this year, I like to think of Bonnie from Going Home to Roost as one of my 'besties'. Not only is she crafty, creative and talented, she's also one of the nicest bloggers I know. She'll be a constant source of inspiration when I move to the country, that's for sure! And so, I'm thrilled to be giving something back and sharing her latest project, Celebrate. Yummy Delicious: Jingle Bells and Gingerbread
Searching for inspiration for this year's Gingerbread House project, I came across Everyday Wonders, the gorgeous blog of Natalie Prikhodko. Last year, she made these delightful mini gingerbread houses to play with decorating techniques and icing styles. I'm so glad she did, because I think these are ever so pretty. And her other recipes are pretty neat too! Jingle bells, jingle bells... la, la, la! Christmas is so much fun!

What can I say? It's really no surprise that I'm in love with Twin Set. I mean, let's see now... pretty sleeves, lacy trims, frilly details, vintage florals. I'm not sure how I first stumbled upon the work of Alexandra Valenti... no wait, I think I was looking for turbans for a fashion piece! I took one look at these mystical, dreamy photographs and fell in love. They have such a beautifully faded, seventies feel that sets off the bohemian textures and colours. Most of my favourite pieces in his folio are for fashion label Sisters of the Black Moon, who have some seriously epic vintage coats, skirts and dresses.
