Heart This: Inked Girls
You may have noticed I've been gradually (or not so gradually!) having a little image overhaul here at Wolf and Willow... so it's probably no surprise to you that I'm getting a tattoo! How exciting! Lovely Library: Christmas Goodies from Roost
Of all the wonderful blog friends I have made this year, I like to think of Bonnie from Going Home to Roost as one of my 'besties'. Not only is she crafty, creative and talented, she's also one of the nicest bloggers I know. She'll be a constant source of inspiration when I move to the country, that's for sure! And so, I'm thrilled to be giving something back and sharing her latest project, Celebrate. It's a wee little holiday magazine filled with fun crafty projects like paper pom poms, bath bombs, pumpkin pancakes and even one of her signature aprons. It's 100% homegrown, cosy and crafty... just the way we like it. Hip Hip Hooray!

Fashion Fancies: Pedal Pretty with Cycle Style
Okay, so if you've been following my tweets, you'll know I just found a glorious vintage bicycle on eBay which I'm restoring to her former glory and yes, I am totally in love with all things bicycl-ey! Why, just yesterday I cycled down to lunch on pineapple rice with Miss Sarah, my design friend from Toffee magazine. She has a gold bike, called Goldie, and mine is lavender; her name is Trixie. But what I'm missing is a pretty matching helmet like this one from CycleStyle.

Pretty as a Picture: Tricky with Flickr & Pinterest
If, as my grandma would say, a picture is worth a thousand words, then it's no wonder social photo catalogs like Flickr and Pinterest are so popular amongst 'influencers' of online media like us bloggers. And boy, do we love them! As creative types, we are very visual. And although we're expected to be worsmiths, sometimes it's nice to share something beautiful without writing a word at all. Your personality and style, aspirations and hobbies, even your favourite breakfast cereal - everything you want to share with your audience - you can do it with a virtual pinboard! Lovely Library: Toffee Magazine
Have you heard? The first ever issue of Toffee is finally out! This AMAZING new digital mag and craft kit is bursting with gooey goodness. And well, let's be honest here, there's a lot of Nancy goodness in there too! I had the extreme pleasure of interviewing Danielle Thomspon (my not-so-secret crafty crush) from Kitschy Digitals, my favourite Etsy photographer, Zee Longenecker, and one of my all-time blogging inspirations, Amy Merrick. I also contributed a free sewing pattern to the 24 page craft lift-out and some ideas for handmade beauty products. I loved every minute of making Toffee together with all of the other talented contributors, and I hope you'll have as much fun reading it and crafting along as we had making it! I'm thinking of posting my attempt to make Jess's Cinnamon Madeleine Sandwiches soon... if I don't eat them all first. Thank you everyone, I had so much fun!

Field Journal: Meet Me at Mikes Book Club
I'm ever so excited about joining the Meet Me at Mikes book club. I just couldn't resist posting about how much I'm enjoying the first book, Anne of Green Gables. I can't believe I haven't read it until now - it's positively delightful! The wild imaginings and incessant chatter of Anne Shirley (sorry, Cordelia!) just makes me giggle. It reminds me of a certain someone and her school report cards, which so often read:
"Nancy Alice has a vivid imagination, is excellent at Art and English, but talks far too much for a little girl"

Lately, it seems, I'm living in the past. That is, I just can't get enough of vintage. I'm not fussy about the era, mind you... I've fallen for everything from stone-wash to sequins! And, if you're a blog-a-holic like me, there's nowhere better to search for inspiration than Karla's Closet. Once you're hooked (and believe me, you will be!) you'll only become more enamoured when you discover this pixie-haired fashionista has her very own vintage clothing shop of the same name.

Flea Market Finds: The Little Ballerina
Vintage children's books always ellicit the same response from me. I clasp my hands together and gasp and my eyes get all misty... let's just say, I ADORE them. I could probably fill an entire house with them if I had my way. But this one is extra special. This is Little Ballerina by Dorothy Grider from 1958. You might remember Dorothy's charming illustrations from this post last year? It's ever so dear to my heart. I really can't decide who is cuter, the little ballerina or her puppy dog?

Field Journal: Home, Sweet Home
Hello lovelies! Well, I'm home again after a wonderful holiday in New Zealand and, as you may have noticed, Wolf and Willow has a fresh new look to welcome me home - yay! I love all types of geometric patterns and I REALLY love yellow and gray. I am constantly trying to think of ways to add both elements to any of my rooms designs. So when I saw these rugs from The Rug Company, I gasped with glee! There is just something so chic yet modern about this rug. It can go in a more 'girly' space to give color and texture. Any way that you look at this rug, it rocks!! Now, how do we get that price tag lowered?
